Disclaimer & Health Questionnaire

Class participants agree with the T&Cs, participant T&C's and the disclaimer every time they book so yoga teachers don't need to send them their disclaimer to sign.

Some yoga insurances require a health questionnaire to be filled in by every new student joining a class. Every insurance has different requirements, and / or forms to fill. If your insurance requires a health questionnaire, please send the form to your new student before the class. You can find your student’s email address on your dashboard, on the student’s tab.

In order to be able to teach the class in case the student doesn't send the form back, you could add a sentence like this one on the health questionnaire. "Please fill in this health questionnaire and send it back to me before the yoga class. If you don't send the health questionnaire back we'll assume that you have checked with your doctor and that you are fit for yoga."

Teacher cancellation and no-show penalties

We work hard to find students for your classes, and when a student can’t join a class they booked, their trust in the platform plummets and they might never book again.

We want to avoid teachers' no-shows, class cancellations and wrong video links at all times. Only plan classes that you know you will be able to hold. Enter the correct link for each class if you provide your own Zoom or Google Meet link. We recommend to always use the same link to avoid mistakes.

We expect teachers to teach even if there is only one participant in the class. When you create a class you commit to be ready to teach up to 5 min past the beginning of a class (students can book up to 5mn after the class started).

If you decide to cancel a class, please do it as soon as you can. Cancelling a class with a platform student booked on will be considered as a no show. Cancelling 4 hours or less before the class to one of our platform student will be penalised by a £5 penalty fee per student.

Teachers repeatedly not showing up could be banned from the platform.

Fee avoidance

We ask you to always use the platform to sell classes to students we put you in touch with. Fee avoidance is prohibited, and you could get banned from the platform.

If you teach to our corporate clients, we also ask you to always communicate with them via us and not to sell classes to them directly.

Corporate classes

When we receive a corporate request from a client, we will ask teachers for availability by email (and will need answers the same day) and we'll send the list of available teachers to the client for them to choose from.

We first prioritise teachers on a paid plan (Guru and Master), then we prioritise teachers who schedule online classes on the platform.

We'll only send fully completed profiles to corporate clients (profiles with all the requested information (photo, presentation, video) and an up to date insurance certificate. Getting reviews for your online classes will help you get selected by clients.

If you're interested in teaching corporate classes, let us know on your account by selecting "I would like to be contacted for corporate classes".

Can I add my contact details to my profile or classes?

Do not include your contact details, links to websites or email addresses in your profile or class description when you are on a Teacher or Master plan.

You can add links to your website and to your social accounts when you sign up for the Guru plan.

When a student books a class, you both have access to each other's email addresses in case of an emergency.

Refrain from emailing the student unless necessary, as they already get the platform emails!

We will put students in touch with you if they request it. So you could add a sentence along those lines: if you'd like to ask me any questions prior to booking a class with me, please send a request via "contact". Do not try and teach direct to the students we put you in touch with. Fee avoidance is prohibited.

We will remove links/contact details if we see any without notice:)

Platform emails to students

The platform will send automated emails to students: booking receipts, class reminders, video links, in-person class addresses, and weekly schedule updates.

A student who booked in advance will receive a reminder email the day before the class.

Everyone who signed up to the platform will get our newsletter which they can unsubscribe from at any time.

Overall we'll try and avoid spamming students while getting them the right reminders at the right time.

We reserve the right to email the entire user database for platform changes: technical updates, new features and T&Cs changes

How to promote your studio classes

If you also teach in a yoga studio, we can link your profile to it under “Also teaching at”. Let us know if your yoga studio is missing from our studios section, we’re happy to create one for you.
