Platform Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Live Yoga Teachers’ Platform and Services and the relationship between Us, and our Users: Teachers, Participants and Corporate Clients. By using our Services, You agree to the Terms and accept to be bound by them. These Terms affect your legal rights and obligations, so if you do not agree to the Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Your Rights and Obligations
The Service is made available to you for your personal and non-commercial use only. Your use of the Service might be governed also by separate policies, as provided in connection with such services. Each individual User shall only create one (1) Account.
Live Yoga Teachers grants to You a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable and non-transferable right to use only the executable version (no source code) of the Service application for your private use. The Service comprises the relevant application that enables you to use the Service. You affirm that you have not been previously suspended or removed from the Service. You may not sell or charge others for the right to use Your Account, or otherwise transfer Your Account.
This Agreement does not entitle You to future updates, new versions or other enhancements of the application although Live Yoga Teachers may choose to provide such updates etc., at its sole discretion.
Without limiting any other remedies, Live Yoga Teachers may limit, suspend, terminate, modify, or delete Accounts or access to the Service or parts thereof if You fail to comply, or if We suspect such failure, with the Terms or for any actual or suspected illegal or improper use of the Live Yoga Teachers services, without notice to You.
You are solely responsible for all your use of the Service and for the security of your equipment. You may not reveal, share or otherwise allow others to use your password, or use passwords of others. You agree that you are personally responsible for the use of your account, and for all of the communication and activity in connection with the Service resulting from the use of your account.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
The Service (including the related software and media), the design of the Service and associated content including text, scripts, graphics, interactive features and the like, and the trademarks, service marks and logos contained therein (“Live Yoga Teachers Property”) are owned by Live Yoga Teachers, subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights under the UK, foreign laws and international conventions. Except as expressly provided in these Terms, Live Yoga Teachers does not grant any express or implied rights to use Live Yoga Teachers Property.
You are hereby granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable and non-transferable license to access and use the Live Yoga Teachers Property and Additional Content only in connection with the usage of the Service. Any use of the Service, Live Yoga Teachers Property or Additional Content other than as specifically authorised in the Terms, is prohibited and will terminate the license to use the same. For the avoidance of doubt, You have no right to make available to third parties any content originating from the Service.
3. User Content and Copyright Policy
You may interact with our yoga instructors through the Service and submit messages and/or other content to the Service (“User Content”). Live Yoga Teachers does not have any duty to monitor any User Content. However, Live Yoga Teachers shall have the right (but not the obligation) to remove any User Content that fails to comply with the Terms.
You are solely responsible for any User Content posted, uploaded, transmitted, stored or otherwise made available through the Service using Your Account. You acknowledge that use of the Service (including submitting User Content) may be subject to certain laws, regulations, conditions and restrictions.
Live Yoga Teachers respects the intellectual property rights of others. In accordance with the Information Society Code and other applicable laws, we strive to expeditiously remove any infringing material from our site. If Live Yoga Teachers becomes aware that one of its users is a repeat copyright infringer, it is our policy to take reasonable steps within our power to terminate the user’s account. All users should be aware of and comply with applicable copyright laws.
4. Payment Policy
Live Yoga Teachers does not collect or store payment information from its Users and payments are arranged using Third Party solutions. Live Yoga Teachers is not responsible for any breaches or errors in payments and the User shall contact their financial services providers directly to rectify any problems, unless We decide to issue refunds, at Live Yoga Teachers’ discretion.
5. Pricing and Policy changes
We reserve the right to change our pricing plans at our own discretion. In this case, we will try to inform you before any changes so you can modify or cancel your membership before the changes are made. We accept no responsibility for any losses you may incur by failing to change your membership plan after we have informed you of any changes to the pricing plan.
Please note that we may offer limited-time promotional prices at our discretion. Those may be also personal offers and not available to everyone.
6. Personal Information and Security
You shall give to Live Yoga Teachers correct personal and other information necessary for the use the Services. You shall inform Live Yoga Teachers of any changes to such information. You agree on Live Yoga Teachers sharing Your personal information, such as full name, email address, etc., with the Teachers you follow on the Platform.
Use of your personal and other information is governed by Live Yoga Teachers Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. You consent to us processing your personal and other information in accordance with the Live Yoga Teachers Privacy Policy.
Live Yoga Teachers shall take appropriate online and physical measures to prevent unauthorised access to, improper use of and the reasonable accuracy of your personal data submitted to Live Yoga Teachers via the Service. We use various technologies, including, in certain instances, encryption, to ensure high-security standards. Any data that is stored on Live Yoga Teachers servers is not generally available to the public. However, the use of internet services always includes security risks.
You shall be liable for all your own equipment, internet connectivity and software as well as that they do not cause harm to Live Yoga Teachers and/or third parties. You agree to not attempt to damage, hack, crack, reverse engineer, or otherwise interfere with the Service in any manner.
7. Support and Modifications
Live Yoga Teachers shall have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the Service under this agreement. Live Yoga Teachers may, at its sole discretion, provide limited technical support for the Service.
You understand that the Service is an evolving one. As long as your license for the service is valid you are entitled to upgrades or updates of the service. All upgrades and updates are provided to you on a license exchange basis. You agree that by using an upgrade or update you voluntarily terminate your right to use any previous version. Live Yoga Teachers may license upgrades and updates to you with additional or different terms. You may need to update third party software and/or upgrade your equipment from time to time in order to use the Service.
8. Service Disclaimer / No Warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Live Yoga Teachers makes no warranty or representation, either expressed or implied with respect to the Service, its quality, performance, or fitness for a particular purpose. The Service and all content is provided to you strictly on an "as is" basis, except in cases where defects have rendered the use of the services impossible.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Live Yoga Teachers, its affiliates, licensors, partners and subcontractors from all liabilities, claims and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your breach of the Terms and Conditions or portion hereof, or any act or omission by You relating to the Service (including User Content). Live Yoga Teachers reserves the right to assume its own defence and/or control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by You hereunder.
10. Limitation of Liability
You understand and acknowledge that Live Yoga Teachers will not be liable for any network-related problems attributable to the operation of the Service and that network configuration changes may affect the system's performance.
You hereby acknowledge and agree that Live Yoga Teachers shall have no liability whatsoever in connection with or arising from your use of the Service, as set forth herein. Your only right or remedy regarding any problems or dissatisfaction with the service is to uninstall it and/or discontinue your use of the service, however without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer.
Live Yoga Teachers shall in no case be liable for any personal injury or death related to use of the service, or for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of the use of or inability to use the service, even if live yoga teachers has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall the maximum liability of Live Yoga Teachers exceed the total amount of the service fees, paid by you to live yoga teachers during a period of six (6) months preceding the claim.
You specifically acknowledge that Live Yoga Teachers shall not be liable for content provided by third parties or the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party and that the risk of harm or damage from the rests entirely with you. Some jurisdictions may not allow limitations of liability, so the foregoing limitation may not apply to you.
11. Provisioning of the Service and Termination
Live Yoga Teachers shall have the right to, at its sole discretion, decide upon the provision of the Service and making it available to you and reserves the right to discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.
These Terms are in effect for the time being. Your right to use the Service continues until your right to use the Service is terminated. You may terminate your right to use the Service at any time by ceasing to use the Service. Your right to use the Service will automatically terminate if You fail to comply with the material terms of the Terms. In such cases, You will not be entitled to any refund.
12. Stalking and Harassment
Stalking and Harassment are not tolerated at Live Yoga Teacher, and We define it as any behaviour wherein an individual willfully and repeatedly engages in a knowing course of intimidating conduct directed at another person, which reasonably and seriously alarms, torments, or terrorizes that person.
We will look into claims prioritising the victim’s rights, within our discretion.
Claims against students: We will cancel the student’s membership, ban them from the Platform and refund any pre-paid future classes.
Claims against teachers: We will cancel the teacher’s membership, ban them from the Platform, pay for any past classes and cancel any future classes.
13. General
Live Yoga Teachers may assign or delegate its rights and obligations under the Terms and/or the Live Yoga Teachers Privacy Policy, in whole or in part, to any person or entity at any time. You may not assign or delegate rights or obligations under the Terms or Privacy Policy without Live Yoga Teachers’s prior written consent.
These Terms describe certain legal rights. You may have other rights under the mandatory provisions under the laws of your country. These Terms do not change your rights under the mandatory provisions under the laws of your country.
You and Live Yoga Teachers agree that if any portion of the terms or if the Live Yoga Teachers Privacy Policy is found illegal or unenforceable, in whole or in part by any court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall, as to such jurisdiction, be ineffective solely to the extent of such determination of invalidity or unenforceability without affecting the validity or enforceability thereof in any other manner or jurisdiction and without the remaining provisions of the Terms, which shall continue to be in full force and effect.
Live Yoga Teachers may publish additional policies related to specific services. Your right to use such service is subject to those specific policies and the terms.
Live Yoga Teachers reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of the Terms and its Privacy Policy at any given time by posting the amended Terms on the service, and in case of substantial changes, by email to the email address provided by You to Live Yoga Teachers. You will be deemed to have accepted such changes by continuing to use the Service. If You do not agree to any portions of the then-current version of our terms, Live Yoga Teachers Privacy Policy, or any other Live Yoga Teachers policy, rules or codes of conduct relating to your use of the service, Your license to use the service shall immediately terminate, and You must immediately stop using the service, and You will not be entitled to any refund of the service fee. In such case please check the service on a regular basis so that You remain aware of the then-current Terms.
14. Disputes and Applicable Law
All disputes relating to Service and the Terms shall be settled according to England’s law, in a London Court of Justice.
These Terms shall be goverthe ned by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England excluding any choice of law provisions.

Yoga Teachers Terms and Conditions
Provide required information and documents
Provide required information, documents and accurate contact details in your dashboard: a portrait photo, a profile description, qualifications, everyday contact details (phone and email), up to date insurance certificate covering online classes worldwide (including US and Canada) and a valid yoga diploma.
Show up to classes
When teachers create classes, they need to ensure they are ready to teach up to 5 minutes after the beginning of the class (students can book up to 5 minutes after the start of a class). Most bookings happen within 1 hour before the class.
If teachers provide their own Zoom or Google Meet link, they need to enter the correct link for each class. We recommend to always use the same link to avoid mistakes and we ask to make sure the link doesn't require a password.
If a student has booked and cannot join the class because of a teacher no-show or a link issue, we will refund the student and give them the teacher’s free coupon, for them to book one of their next classes for free. Teachers repeatedly not showing up or providing wrong links could be banned from the platform.
Health certificate
If an insurance requires a health questionnaire for new participants, teachers can send the form to participants before the class.
Vouchers
We sometime issue customer services vouchers or marketing vouchers, in that case the participant will use a free voucher, and we’ll send teachers the payment via stripe shortly after the class.
Class recording
Teachers are only allowed to record their screen (speaker view). It is forbidden to record the participants without their consent. It is the teacher's responsibility to put the participants on “mute” for the whole session to avoid them appearing on the video. Teachers should also let the participant know that they won't appear on the recording while being on "mute" to prevent them from worrying about privacy.
Emojis to use for classes
Hybrid class
If the class is hybrid (in studio and online), teachers should let the users know by using the “hybrid class” emoji
Recorded class
If the class is recorded, teachers should let the users know by using the “Recorded Class” emoji.
Private class
If the class is private to one participant only, teachers can select private class in Level, put a maximum capacity of 1 and use the one-to-one class emoji
2 for 1 class
If teachers would like to accept 2 people joining classes for the price of one, they should let participants know by using the 2for 1 double heart emoji.
Fee avoidance
Teachers should always use the platform to sell classes to students we put them in touch with. Fee avoidance is prohibited, and they could get banned from the platform.
Teachers are not allowed to promote other platforms they might teach on or to invite students to book with them direct. Do not exchange personal contact, financial or other information for the purposes of making any off-platform transaction, including phone number, address, email, social media handles, websites , instructions for money transfer, QR codes, etc. Teachers can add links to their website and to their social accounts when they sign up for the Guru plan.
If teachers are running online yoga classes on their personal website, we ask them to charge the same class price on this platform to protect us against fee avoidance.
If teachers teach to our corporate clients, we also ask them to always communicate with them via us and not to sell classes to clients directly.
Emailing participants
Teachers should refrain from contacting participants directly as they already receive the platform emails. The provided email address should only be used in case of an emergency. We will put participants in touch with teachers if they request it. We will remove links/contact details if we see any without notice (unless on the Guru plan).
Class cancellation
Teachers should only plan classes that they know they will be able to hold. We do not provide cover and we want to avoid last minute class cancellation at all times. We expect teachers to teach even if there is only one participant in the class. When teachers create a class they commit to be ready to teach up to 5 min past the beginning of a class (students can book up to 5mn after the class started).
Number of classes
Number of classes are unlimited, but restricted to a maximum of one a day for the Teacher plan.
Yoga Participants Terms and Conditions
Class cancellation
Bookings cannot be cancelled. If a participant can’t make it to a class they’ve booked, they could tell the teacher as early as possible, and, some teachers could agree to let them use their voucher to join another class. But this is entirely up to their discretion and we recommend participants to always attend classes they’ve booked.
Internet connection
We recommend a bandwidth of at least 1.5 Mbps (up/down). We do not provide refunds for internet connection issues.
Camera on
For everyone’s safety we require cameras to be on. Yoga teachers are allowed to record their screen for their personal use, but only on the speaker view. To avoid appearing on teacher’s video recording stay on “mute” at all times. We do not provide recording. As a participant, you are not allowed to record the class.
2 for 1
Bring a + one for free. Classes with the double heart emojis accept 2 participants for the price of one. Participants can both practise from the same room, or the booking participant can forward the link to the other participant when received (one hour before the class).
Health and safety
Participants must be sufficiently healthy to practise yoga and in any doubts they should request professional advice before booking a class.
Participants agree with a disclaimer and the T&C’s when booking and cannot sue us for injuries.
Insurance
Some teacher’s insurance require a health certificate to be filled in by participants, kindly fill it in if you get such a request from the teacher.
Contact details
The teacher will get participant’s email address, name and surname. Teachers are allowed to download their contact list when leaving the platform, therefore they will be able to email participants outside the platform.
Corporate Clients Terms and Conditions
In-person classes:
- Please allow 2 weeks between the time of the booking and the class. For a shorter turnaround, immediate payment will be required.
- Payment must be received in full before the class takes place. We do not provide refunds.
- With more than 48 hours' notice, rescheduling is possible within the same week with the same teacher and in the same location
- Full payment is required if a cancellation/rescheduling happens less than 48 hours before the class
- In case of force majeure, rescheduling is possible within a month in the same building and with the same teacher, unless the teacher already travelled to the location.
- 5 class bundles are available to use within a year
- We'll try our best to schedule your favourite yoga instructor, but their availability may vary. The earlier you book, the better.
- Recurring class prices are only available for the same class, in the same location, with the same teacher.
- We request clients to always use our services to book teachers we’ve put them in touch with as fee avoidance is prohibited.
Online classes
- Please allow 2 weeks between the time of the booking and the class. For a shorter turnaround, immediate payment will be required.
- With more than 48 hours notice, rescheduling is possible within the same week with the same teacher.
- Full payment is required if a cancellation/rescheduling happens less than 48 hours before the class
- Recurring class prices are only available for the same class with the same teacher.
- The person booking for others must obtain everyone's consent to the T&Cs and a disclaimer.
- A-la-Carte passes allow individuals to book only group classes - no private classes.
- Payment is required before obtaining the A-la-carte passes.
- Passes are not refundable and must be used within 6 months for 10 and 3 months for 5 classes. Once a class has been booked, it can not be rescheduled or cancelled.
- We request clients to always use our services to book teachers we’ve put them in touch with as fee avoidance is prohibited.
