Hi, I’m Emma.
A yoga teacher offering mindful, grounding practices rooted in traditional Hatha yoga.
My classes are slow-paced, intentional, and designed to help you reconnect with your body, breath, and inner calm. Together, we explore each posture with awareness and curiosity, letting go of the pressure for "perfect form" so you can tune into what your body actually needs.
My teaching is built on a simple philosophy:
• Nervous system regulation over rigid performance.
• Embodied presence over speed or pace.
• Emotional ease over pushing past your limits.
This is a safe, supportive space to breathe deeply, move gently, and return to yourself. Through breath-led movement and intentional stillness, my goal is to help you find space in your body, clarity in your mind, and ease in your heart.

As always a great class. This one for me was personally more challenging but for all the right reasons. I hold a lot of tension in my hamstrings and lower back… and this class focused lots on those areas which was perfect for me. Emma has a lovely relaxed and bubbly nature. It’s really refreshing as I’ve known a lot of yoga teachers who take themselves too seriously and the practice too seriously. Emma brings a real freshness to this practice, and a sense of joy, which in my opinion, is so important as in yoga we meet ourselves in some tricky, sometimes dark places at times (or at least that’s my experience) and Emma brings the light to that.
I am studying to be an embodiment coach and as part of my certification I had to choose an activity to support me for the rest of the certification. Hatha yoga was suggested as I have always been rather yoga resistant - and I’m so glad I found Emma, as she has not only helped me lean into yoga as a supportive practice, but I actually look forward to it every week now! :)
Thanks Emma!!!
I have always been a little averse to yoga with a very martial arts / weight training background, it felt a little too slow for me. Embodiment training has taught me to embrace the slow, however a lot of the yoga I have tried seemed to flow from one movement to the next rather quickly, often leaving me with a yearning to stay longer in a pose and explore what came up for me. My session with Emma was the complete opposite. In fact I’d go as far as to say it’s one of the best yoga classes I’ve ever participated in. It felt so embodied and nurturing. I was given time to settle into the moves and then simply be in them and with them. It allowed for resistance to rear its head and be met with curiosity and compassion. It allowed for tension to arise and to meet it with softness. It allowed for emotions to move and be released. It was so wholesome.
Emma’s cues were easy to understand, intuitive and perfectly timed… allowing me to deepen into the poses and experience more yumminess. And Emma has a really endearing relatable and very human presence about her, meaning we were able to smile and laugh together, making it not so serious which is something else I have experienced in previous sessions, which can lead to more rigidity and tightness in the body. I felt completely at ease and the whole session was very medicinal. And you can’t beat an Irish accent! Very nurturing. Thanks for an incredible session… you have made me « want » to do yoga again :)
