I'm a yoga and breathwork practitioner, yoga instructor and breathwork facilitator.
I have been practising yoga and breathwork for over 15 years, and my journey has been as varied as the countries that I have been fortunate enough to experience.
My understanding of yoga took on a new meaning, through breath-work, which I integrate into my yoga classes now and vise versa with my breathwork sessions.
Breathwork is what distinguishes between workout and real yoga. It heals our mind and body accumulatively and brings us back to our natural state of being.
We start each yoga class with gentle and mindful breath awareness. I then introduce calming and balancing Breath-Work in, followed by a series of poses, guided with synchronised breathing techniques to build and shape life force energy. We rest in Savasana with a relaxation meditation to close.
We start the breathwork sessions with gentle yoga series of Pawanmuktasana, followed by mindful grounding. Then I bring in calming, balancing and energising breathwork in. We again rest in Savasana with a relaxation meditation to close the session.
