More YogaMore Yoga, various locations, London

MoreYoga offers classes at an accessible price and in convenient locations. With a dynamic timetable, small class sizes and experienced instructors they make turning up on the mat easy.
More Yoga

Founded by entrepreneurs Shamir Sidhu and Daniel Marin, MoreYoga launched its first studio in 2016 and now has over 35 locations around London. They aim to keep the cost of entry low with no-frills studios that focus on the classes themselves.

MoreYoga now teaches over ten-thousand students a week across their different locations. They have 5 locations in central London, 8 locations in North London, 6 locations in East London, and 3 in West London.

The most popular More Yoga studios are in Brixton and Soho, followed by More Yoga Blackhorse Road and More Yoga Elephant and Castle.

While you won’t find showers, a café or even a reception desk, the studios are well designed, clean and well equipped. The focus is very much on functionality and the teaching itself. A very interesting low-cost approach, the opposite of the upmarket Triyoga which only operates 5 clubs in high-income areas. More Yoga startegy is targetting lower-income, diverse and high-density areas. They were offering online classes during the lockdown, but they have stopped now.

Making Life Easy

The main goal for MoreYoga is to make it as easy and fuss-free as possible to get on the mat and do your practice. Their studios are practical with little space made for anything other than your class. With a varied timetable for all levels, multiple locations spread across greater London and affordable packages, they remove the barriers to entry.

More yoga pricing

MoreYoga prides themselves on affordability with a wide range of packages and membership options to help keep the cost of your practice reasonable. Some deals include four classes a month for £35 or their current premium online membership at £39 per month.

You can try More Yoga for £10 for 3 classes. Once this runs out, you can buy either monthly passes from £39 a month, or buy class passes for £9 a class (down to £6 a class if you buy 24 classes at once to use in 4 months).

Yoga Types and classes available

The timetable is heavily skewed to Vinyasa Flow classes and variations thereof, however, there are some Yin, Ashtanga and Jivamukti classes in the schedule. They also offer pilates and meditation.

Classes run between 7am and 9pm daily, starting a little later on the weekends.

Expert Teachers and Teacher Training

MoreYoga has over 140 teachers on their schedules across the different classes and their 35 studios. Each teacher has a different background and brings with them their own style, specialty and playlist.

MoreYoga also offers teacher training which is led by Erika Shapiro who studied the Art of Contemporary Yoga, Luana Galoni who studied in India at the Himalaya Yoga Valley School before qualifying as a Reiki Master in Peru, and dance artist, yoga teacher, creative mover and anatomy enthusiast Kathy Richardson. Teacher training starts at £1500 and is certified by Yoga Alliance.

Reviews

The reviews for MoreYoga vary quite wildly from studio to studio, so it may be best to search for your nearest location and check what previous students and visitors have said. Overall, reviews favour the convenience of MoreYoga, however there are many criticisms of their customer service.

I am originally from Bulgaria and I have been living in the UK for the last 10 years. A relatively new yoga teacher, although I have been practicing yoga for several years now, still learning every day.
