Awaken and align your body with this rejuvenating hatha yoga session on the mat - a slow moving class focusing on strength, mobility and mindfulness.
This class is suitable for all participants with reasonable to great mobility - there is some movement from standing to laying, but all moves are adapted to cater for beginners through to advanced practitioners.
Classes are designed to improve strength and mobility through holding poses with a slow controlled transition, rather than working on more advanced poses.
An operation I had as a child led to bad posture and poor physical alignment, as I got older this affected my physical and mental health on a daily basis. However, the strengthening exercises, mobility movements and mindfulness through yoga allowed for a pain free active life.
