Yanar Alkayat
My style is gentle, restorative and naturally somatic – designed to meet you where you are, whether on the mat or chair.
I've had a 20-year journey with classic yoga, leading me to teach movement, breathwork and meditation practices rooted in traditional yogic wisdom and train as a yoga therapist.
In my chair yoga class, I make mindful movement accessible to all. I work closely with older adults, people with movement disorders and chronic health conditions and those more comfortable moving from a chair.
I'm also passionate about yoga nidra to let go of physical and mental stress. It's a powerful tool for healing, growth and transformation, too.
As well as classes, I offer one-to-one yoga therapy sessions, more details about this are on my website.
