Ellie Bourne
By day, I work as a mental health practitioner and can appreciate the importance of self-care and the impact on our emotional wellbeing and positive mental health. My own practice began as an act of self-care and a way of looking after myself in a job where I spend the majority of my time talking about and focusing on others’ wellbeing.
In appreciating the positive impact yoga has had within my own practice I was driven to complete a 200hr yoga teacher training course- initially with the aim of developing my own knowledge and understanding and deepening my practice.
With years of experience working in mental health, combined with yoga training, the focus of my teaching is supporting others to understand the mind-body connection and the positive impacts yoga can have on our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
