Only one third of marathon runners are based in London. This freebie is available to all runners, and it's a healthy one!

Following successful marathon recovery programs for the past 3 years, we are delighted to organise a 4th edition for the 2026 London Marathon on the 26th of April 2026.

Our Yoga Teacher for Runners, Emma Taylor, will take you through 3 live-streamed recovery yoga sessions starting the day after the marathon, on Monday 27, Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 April.

“Whether you’re about to run your 1st or 50th marathon, your body will have accomplished something huge!! Rest is so important after a marathon, but as tempting as it may be to crawl into bed and stay there for a week - it isn’t the best way to recover. Yoga is a fun and low-impact way to help your tired muscles recover, reduce the post-run stiffness and help your body return to a balance. Yoga will also help reduce your risk of injury so you can be back in your running shoes as soon as possible. Even more importantly, post-marathon yoga can help soothe your nervous system after those survival-focused miles, and ease you back into day-to-day life, helping you manage those post-marathon blues! You don’t need to have done yoga before to make it part of your post-marathon-recovery routine. Give it a go in these fun and low-pressure classes - your body and mind will thank you!”

These gentle but targeted classes focus on full-body mobility and flexibility, with extra attention to the hips, quads, glutes, hamstrings, ankles and lower legs. The postures will stretch and release tight muscles and encourage circulation, closing with calming breathwork to soothe the nervous system after all the intensity of race day.

  • Monday: Gentle floor-based postures to ease stiffness in the legs, hips and lower-back
  • Tuesday: Introducing more flowing, full-body movements to boost circulation and support overall physical ease
  • Wednesday: Deeper stretches to release tightness and improve recovery, mobility and range of motion
