Thank you for your patience during our platform upgrade. You will notice some design and functionality changes, which will hopefully make the platform easier to use!
Here are the main things you should be aware of:
New look and feel: we’ve re-designed some of the pages to make it easier for people to use the platform - teachers and participants
International: users can now pay directly in more currencies (£, € and $) and view class times in more timezones (UK, Western Europe and USA). If you have a UK-only insurance we recommend you upgrade your coverage to include the rest of the world + US/Canada.
Card processing fees: card processing fees will now be deducted from the amount you get from participants' payments. Those fees represent on average 5% of the booking, so we have now reduced everyone’s platform fee by 5% so that you are still getting roughly the same amount per booking.
Class subtitles for teachers: you can now add a subtitle to your classes so you can identify them better on your dashboard
Some features have been removed: we have removed some of the features that were generally under-utilized and not delivering enough value: follow/unfollow, in-person classes, levels.
Book a yoga class: Teacher's accounts now let teachers book yoga classes as well as teaching them. From now on, teachers will be receiving our sunday weekly email with the schedule for the week, you can unsubscribe from that email in your account.
Levels: you can now add a Beginners emoji (🌱) or an Advanced emoji( 🚀) to your classes when required. By default all classes are now open level.
